If my boyfriend moves into my apartment agreeing to pay "X" for rent but after a month he still has not paid, do I have to evict him to get him out?

You don't HAVE to evict him, unless you two signed a legally binding contract in which you he agreed that he would pay "X" per month, or risk consequence (Which would hold up in court, by the way). Personally, I'd either get him on the contract, or give him three increasingly-irritable months, which act as buffer warnings, before you kick him out. If he sits around all day and does nothing even close to having a job to actually pay, he's not worth having around the apartment anyways.
