What education is needed for agriculture?

I think agriculture can be a profound science which requires a long time of studying. Nowadays, there are many universities that have agriculture majors. If you want to become a modern farmer, then you have to take some lessons in some sub-fields and require the basic knowledge and skills. If you want to do research, you have to get at least a master degree, or even a PHD in agriculture.
